I’m delightfully excited to share our Christmas cards with you and just exactly why I partnered with Minted to share this post. You see, we have had the unfortunate but consistent habit of sending our Christmas cards long after Christmas has come and gone until this year, at least. I always joke about wanting to send Valentine’s Day cards instead because that’s about the time we finally get it together to send off our cards.
Well, one of my Christmas wishes this year was to have really nice quality Christmas cards and have them sent off before Christmas, and guys, that Christmas wish has finally come true!
IDK why I waited so long to discover the beauty and magic of Minted.com, but I’ll be making dang sure we use them every year. I was so blown away by how many designs they had to offer, all of which beat my self-made cards from past years. And if having unlimited designs to choose from wasn’t enough, I was enamored with the fact that I could customize almost every facet of our cards. I mean, we could choose from flat card to folding card, metallic foiling, matching envelope inserts… you guys! You can even print custom stamps to match your exact Christmas design. I had so much fun personalizing our cards and felt satisfaction in being able to add a bunch of extra photos on the collage on the back of the card. I’ve never had a double-sided card before…ever…and I just feel so official and cool now.
After I designed our card, I could upload my own excel spreadsheet with all of our friends and families’ addresses and those were customer printed on the envelopes. Fun fact #1: The boss loves spreadsheets and is really good at them even though they make my head hurt. 😔 Fun fact #2: I was not sad about NOT having to hand write all the addresses. Nope! No thank you, pass! We also got custom return label wrap stickers which I love because they keep the bad guys from opening your mail.
Anyway, if you can’t tell, I’m wildly impressed and happy with our cards. They hold precious memories of our family and my little babes, and I know Grandmas and Grandpas will really cherish these cards for a long time. So let’s hear it for making new Christmas traditions of getting Christmas cards from Minted and sending them out before Christmas! #ciberhighfive
PS: In case you’re wondering, I always prepare my Christmas cards casually with Christmas tree trimmings and cranberries just lying around (totally unplanned, of course). It makes everything way more festive. But for reals, please acknowledge that my photos are festive as frick. 😉
