Today I am super excited to un-box my #CAUSEBOX with you and tell you about what I found inside my box. I feel very fortunate that Whippy Cake is often associated with kindness and charity, and I feel like this box fits perfectly with sharing goodness. I am always eager to use my platform to meet and work with companies who give back and work towards a cause—Sevenly is one of those companies.
The CAUSEBOX is a collection of products by socially-conscious businesses that focus on giving back to underprivileged communities, providing jobs and sustainable income, and empowering people to make this world a better place. This box not only introduces you to many extraordinary companies, but it also makes you stretch your dollar into a meaningful donation to charity.
I was really excited to find my CAUSEBOX waiting for me inside my mailbox this week, so without keeping you waiting any longer, here is what was inside my CAUSEBOX02:
Denik “Be the Change” Journal
“Art Can Change The World” is the motto of this company. They donate a portion of every notebook sold towards funding schools in developing countries.
This collaboration bracelet alone helped Tribe-Alive provide 20 jobs for women in Honduras. They are contributing to community development and job creation in developing countries.
Perf Turkish Towel
This towel is flat woven in Turkey. Perf gives 15% of profits to community development projects in Haiti.
“Good Day” Sevenly Cling
A positive thought in the morning can change your whole day. What better way to remind yourself to cherish every day than to wake up to the words “Today is a Good Day”?! This Sevenly original product may peel on and off windows easily, but it will stick with you throughout your whole day.
Half United “Fighting Hunger” Necklace
Half United donates an incredibly high amount of its profits to the fight against hunger (50%!). The necklace is symbolic of a movement away from violence in the direction of positive change. The necklace is made from recycled bullet casings — they are melted down to symbolize the end of something negative, while boldly representing action toward hunger relief.
Smarty Pants Vitamins
Smarty Pants partners with Vitamin Angels to give vitamins to a child in need for every bottle of vitamins that they sell. Together they have helped over 500,000 at-risk children and counting!
Good Spread Peanut Butter & Honey Packet
Most of us eat peanut butter already, so when Sevenly found out they could feed the hungry just by switching over to Good Spread Peanut Butter, it was a no-brainer.
Each cause box includes over $150 worth of product inside, and you can subscribe to get a seasonal box for $49.95/quarter. Sevenly will then give $7 of every purchase back to charity for every box sold, each and every quarter. I love that it’s basically a double giveback! I hope you will choose to support a specific charity through your subscription, or you can pick from several charity partners. I love this little box so much, and I am so glad I could share it with you. I hope it reminds you to #BeTheGood.
