I love Easter and the peaceful reminder that Christ lives, the gorgeous spring weather, happy squealing kids all over the place, a reason to get together with loved ones, and lets not forget, all you can eat candy!

I can't help but feel refreshed and just happy and content with how wonderful this life is. Simply put, I am so blessed and I feel it. OK, the cheesy sentiments are over. 😉 I was invited by gorgeous Brooke  & Summer of  The Girls with Glasses to put together an Easter outfit for a fun collaborated wardrobe post on their blog. Spring Outfit A kiss from Spring by Whippy Easter outfit Easter outfit Smile Full Spring OutfitFor this outfit for Spring I went with traditional floral prints and pastels with a touch of comfort.  I searched meticulously for this light weight but impactful floral print maxi dress. I love to look feminine but feel comfortable and a floral maxi accomplishes both.

The thing I love most about this dress is that I can easily mix and match it with cardigans and tops to change up the look so I can wear it over and over again without anyone noticing, plus I got the same dress in black too. In this case I paired the dress with a peach knit crop top to break up all that floral and to add a little volume and texture on top.

I also chose petite and dainty jewelry to tie in more feminine yet comfortable details. My favorite accessory in this whole outfit is the bright punch of color on my lips, you should never under estimate the power of a vibrant lipstick! Also, I saw this  video and just had to share it with you because the peace it makes feel and how excited I get remembering that today is a new day and I get to start again because of Him.  I especially love the hash tag  #startingtoday and am going to start using it…. starting today… pun intended.

Anyways, I hope you like it!
