Modern:
The modern personal style can also be classified as the sporty style but I think the two styles should be categorized separately since they can vary so much. However the modern style does incorporated some of the same key characteristics as a sporty personal style so I will mesh the two together. Sporty style is for the modern girl who enjoys being casual and comfortable and not necessarily conforming to what was previously expected of women. Modern/sporty style personalities are typicially very active and wear clothes that are casual, comfortable and athletic. Let me review some other characteristics a modern/sporty personality might possess.
- Has a fast pace life style
- Not afraid of taking risks
- Chooses bright colors
- Enjoys Athletic
- Trendy or a trend setter
- Drawn to playful patterns and colors
- Likes to be original
- Wears denim
- Wears t-shirts
- On the go
- Chooses knit materials
- Relaxed towards life
- Involved in a lot of casual activity’s
- Wears hoodies and v-necks
- Very energetic and enthusiastic
- Not afraid to be the first to try something
- Drawn to cotton, spandex, denim and mesh materials
- Chooses easy to care for clothing
- Likes to look good but feel comfortable
- Sporty side likes plain and wearable jewelry like stud earrings and athletic watch bands
- Modern side likes trendy accessories like long chunky chains or large hoop earrings
- Wears khaki’s or cargo pants
- Inquisitive
- Sucker for a white shirt
- Adventurous
- Attracted to modernized apparel and decor
- Enjoys being different and unique
I do feel like this style is more general and can be a mix of many qualities whether you are mainly or sporty or mostly modern or a blend of the two. If you can relate to more than half of this list chances are your primary personal style is modern/sporty. As always it’s possible to have a secondary style as well. Brands you might wear if your style is modern/sporty are Gap, J. Crew, and Burberry. Things a sporty/modern style would not wear on a day to day basis would be silk, ruffles, pastels, lace, or other high maintenance clothing and accessories. A few easy to spot celebrities from this style are Cameron Diaz (sporty), Jennifer Aniston (sporty), Kim Kardashian (modern).
