Whippy Cake & Cricut Make & Take Event

Whippy Cake & Cricut Make & Take Event

Cricut and I have teamed up to host a fun and casual Make & Take event here in Arizona and I am rather excited about it, it just can’t come soon enough. Our little shindig will be held at Noah’s in Chandler on April 17th at 7pm! Tickets will be $15 per person to get in and then we have 3 exciting project kits to choose from all made easily with the Cricut. You can expect tempting treats and drinks, giveaways to swoon over, a little bit of swag and a chance to experiment and create with the new Cricut Explore machine first hand!  To be fair I should probably also tell you that we will be giving away a brand new Cricut Explore Machine to an attendee! I think we have come up with the perfect combination of DIY, food, and fun and managed to tie it all into one night of awesome!

I had a lot of fun coming up with the following 3 make & take projects for this event. I wanted to offer projects I would personally love and use on a daily basis that would also double as functional home decor as well.

The first project is this TaDa Glass Duo. This kit is $15 and includes everything needed to  make these gold embellished glasses. You can use them to hold your makeup brushes, lipsticks, pens and pencils, craft supplies, fresh flowers, toothbrushes… you get the idea!

The second project you can make is this very useful and fetching Hot Plate. This kit is $15 and includes the gold plate and the glass plate and everything needed to pattern your plate.  You can use your hot plate to rest your flat iron or curling iron on to protect your counters from getting unwanted burn marks. You could also use this plate to hold jewelry, hair accessories and makeup on your vanity so it doesn’t get scattered all over the place.

The final project is my favorite and is this #NOFILTER Cutout Sleep Mask. This kit is $12 and comes with 3 layers of yummy fabric including the top layer with “#nofilter” already pre-cut. You also get the leftover letters “#nofilter” which you can use to make your own custom shirt or bag or whatever you want. The kit also includes glittery gold elastic so you can wear your sleep mask comfortably.

You do need to purchase a ticket to the make & take in order to purchase a kit. You can purchase one kit or all 3 project kits if you want to make them all. Everything will be pre-cut and ready to make when you arrive so you will have more than enough time to finish one or all three projects that night and you will get one on one time to test out the Cricut and cutout anything extra you want to take home home for personal projects. If you get caught up having fun and chatting and don’t finish, don’t worry, your projects kits will include everything you need to finish your projects at home! Tickets are limited for this event so it’s pretty much first come first serve and same goes for the kits so I would snatch your ticket up while you can! After you purchase your ticket we will send a ticket confirmation to you via email along with further details, directions, and instructions before the big night. If you have any questions about this event feel free to email me at admin (at) whippycake (dot) com. If you don’t live in AZ but would like to purchase one of the project kits or learn more about the Cricut Explore you can also email me! ;)
