An Outfit for Spring

An Outfit for Spring

Well hello again! I hope you all had a beautiful Easter! I spent Easter with all of my family and decided to just unplug for a few days and enjoy my family thoroughly.  I come from a family of 8 kids and we are all married and scattered about Arizona and Utah so it’s not very often that ALL of my siblings get together with ALL of our kids. There are 28 kids between us 8 couples with one on a mission, plus 3 babies on the way. Who wants to volunteer to host us all for dinner? Seriously, I love my big family and the crazy chaos that comes with that many people in one place at one time. DSC06390 copy DSC06374 copy DSC06404 copy I love Easter and the peaceful reminder that Christ lives, the gorgeous spring weather, happy squealing kids all over the place, a reason to get together with loved ones, and lets not forget, all you can eat candy! I can’t help but feel refreshed and just happy and content with how wonderful this life is. Simply put, I am so blessed and I feel it. OK, the cheesy sentiments are over. ;) I was invited by gorgeous Brooke  & Summer of  The Girls with Glasses to put together an Easter outfit for a fun collaborated wardrobe post on their blog. The thing I love most about this dress is that I can easily mix and match it with cardigans and tops to change up the look so I can wear it over and over again without anyone noticing, plus I got the same dress in black too. In this case I paired the dress with a peach knit crop top to break up all that floral and to add a little volume and texture on top. I also chose petite and dainty jewelry to tie in more feminine yet comfortable details. My favorite accessory in this whole outfit is the bright punch of color on my lips, you should never under estimate the power of a vibrant lipstick! To get more spring wardrobe ideas you should check out the rest of the post on The Girls with Glasses blog. Anyways, I hope you like it! XOXO, Whip
