I was asked to meet with Studio 5 Coordinators to design 3 segments, for KSL Channel 5, in Utah. They were looking for segments with true Whippy Cake flair, based on spring trends and new looks. This is not the first time I have worked with them, and want to do my best to keep it fresh! I presented them with ideas for more than 3 segments! And we have some future appearances on the calendar! Working with Studio 5 is such a fun opportunity. Live TV? This country girl had a blast!
HERE is the link to my segment on skin care called “Her flawless face”. I got the opportunity to highlight products and tips that I love. I could talk for hours on this topic. There are so many products out there, and it is tough to find the right one for you. Luckily, I have tested quite a few, and can point you in the right direction. Especially for those of you who aren’t happy with your complexion! I completely understand feeling that way, and I know how insecure that can cause a woman feel!! Luckily, there are products out there that can help. I hope that I was able to offer good advice to my friends, with this segment!!
HERE is the segment we called “Making CENTS of spring style”. I mixed a few items from my personal wardrobe, with a few pieces from Cents of Style, to feature for this segment. I love teaching the concept of Cost Per Wear. Figuring out the cost of an item, for each time you will wear it, before you buy it. It helps you to create a realistic plan for your clothing. To make sure that your money is being spent wisely. I used this segment to explain the importance of having a few staple items that are pricey. But that it is also important to purchase frugal items that are trendy, and inexpensive. The trendy items will go out of style, but you paid less for them, so it’s not a huge loss! I want to help everyone use their budget wisely, when it comes to coordinating your wardrobe!
These segments were done in early March. I was out of town for over a week. My schedule was full. It is awesome to have something like this to show, for the time I was away from my kids! When I was gone, I missed my little ones terribly. They are so adorable. They are far from perfect, but they are my heart. My trip felt long, and was crowded with opportunities for my business. When I look back on my time as a mother, it will be nice to have something to SHOW my kids. So that they can see what I was involved with, when I was away from them. It is another way I can share part of myself with my family, that doesn’t always include them.
Hoping your spring is lovely!
