Hey all! Lo here. You guys are probably pretty mad at me, aren’t you? I didn’t realize how much time has gone by since the last time I posted for you. You could say I’ve been busy, you know, just being me. Summer was pretty intense but that’s over now. Since then, I’ve started my own shop (3cheeks) selling bracelets I make by hand. My mom has to help me a little but I do all the important stuff like pick colors and come up with the patterns. It keeps me pretty busy and I love that it gives me extended access to my mom’s studio. It’s pretty much our studio now. As you can see, I am making myself at home on the top of our desk. Even though I work from home I still gotta be me and work in style. I’m sporting the usual romper and a skirt. Oddly enough, all of my rompers seem to be disappearing, hmmm? I’m thinking mom is hiding them from me again but that’s ok, I don’t have much trouble finding her hiding spots. I wish I would have done my hair for this photo but let’s be honest, I’m my mother’s daughter and she doesn’t do her hair either. Hearts are trending in a major way right now, because I said so, so I’m wearing my Hello Kitty heart shades indoors. Since my legs are showing might as well show off my wacky tacky temporary tattoo. One time I tried to give myself a full sleeve tattoo with my rub on’s but I got in trouble. Guess I should have saved that for Halloween. So anyway, if you want to glam it up at work too just take some notes from me. I may even share some of my glittery tattoos with you.
Today I am busy helping my mom. Tomorrow is her birthday and she has some big things planned. I don’t think she likes getting older because she seems to be planning anything she can to keep herself distracted on her birthday. She would kill me if I told you she is turning 28. Ooops, that just came out.
Ewe, she’s like a million times older than me, no wonder she’s a mess.
So she is planning to do 28 random acts of kindness (aka RAOK’s) on her birthday since she is turning 28. I told you my mom hates her birthday so she likes to turn the day around and do stuff for other people. It sounds kind of weird but it’s actually pretty fun, if you like making people smile and all that mushy gooshy stuff. It’s sort of hard to explain how it works because I’m only 3 still, hello! But if you read the post she did for her 26th birthday then you will get it. Instead of getting presents for her birthday my mom always asks that you do your own random act of kindness and then share it with her on her blog or Facebook page as her gift. I am making some bracelets to give away to some ladies. I can’t wait to see the surprise on their faces when they see what kind of awesomeness I have made for them. I can see why mom loves RAOK’s, I feels tickle in my heart when I do nice things for people. I can’t wait to see what kind of awesome service acts she has in store this tomorrow, I know she did a HUGE sale last time so I’m guessing that can be expected this time as well. What kind of nice things would you do for your RAOK?

Haha! I love these posts! Happy Birthday!
you are welcome to send a “random act of kindness” my way! I just recently found your blog when I was looking for great hairstyles and now I am addicted to your blog! Just my speed! And well, they say the best compliment is imitation, so don’t be offended when I say that I am bringing your pic to the hairdresser on Thursday – I recently cut my hair short and, well. the front is ok but the back..not so much. So if you would like to decorate my new “do” – you know where to find me!
(BTW – my daughter’s b-day is today! she just turned 8!)
…just read about your 26th and found it super inspiring – enough to want to celebrate similarly for my own 40th this year (my hubby and I aren’t really “birthday” people so this is something that I think I could do). So, again, thanks for the inspiration – nothing like a hair and heart makeover!
