Don’t you love it when I say I am gonna do something and then I don’t get around to doing it till several weeks later? Oh you hate that? I know, I am working on being more reliable. On the other hand, somethings are better late than never, like this summer smolder eye pictorial. I love a smokey eye because it’s a quick way to take an outfit to the next level. Most the time I don’t leave myself much time to do anything exciting with my hair or outfit so I just punch it up with a makeup statement. The great thing with smokey eye makeup is you can fine tune it to your mood, your outfit or the occasion. This pictorial demonstrated a subtle smokey eye that goes great with casual wear or in the summer. The best part is you only need 4 products and you can do this makeup in just five steps!
Step 1: Apply Stila Smudge Crayon in Kitten to eyelid along the crease. This smudge crayon is waterproof eye primer, shadow and liner in one and Kitten is a soft blush tone with a hint of shimmer.
Step 2: Apply Stila Smudge Crayon in Smoke to eyelid along the lash line as well as your under eye lash line. This is also a smudge crayon that’s waterproof eye primer, shadow and liner in one and the Smoke color is a medium tone with gray and taupe hues and a hint of shimmer.
Step 3: Using your finger very lightly blend the two colors together in the center of your eyelid. Be careful not to rub the color off.
Step 4: Apply NYX Retractable Eyeliner in Gray closely to the top and bottom lash line blending outward away from the eye with the tip of the eyeliner. This eyeliner is also waterproof but never sets so it’s perfect for blending and the Gray color is a very dark smokey gray.
Step 5: Apply Too Faced Size Queen mascara to top lashes starting at the base of your lashes rocking the mascara wand back and forth, upward away from your eye. For a more dramatic eye apply two coats of mascara to top and bottom lashes. Brush your lashes while the mascara is still wet with a clean mascara wand to eliminate any clumps or flakes of mascara for more intense defined lashes.
Now help yourself to a Diet Dr. Pepper and enjoy your fine work.

Are those colors universal, as in would it work well for all skin tones? I’m Asian and have an olive complexion so I’m just wondering….thanks!!
Absolutely Marie. I use these products professionally on my clients and they still look awesome! I’m so glad you asked
Gorgeous!!!!
Does anyone know how the crayon holds up on oily skin?? Yes, even my eyelids are oily (sigh). You have beautiful skin, Becki.
These crayons are not as oily as the Urban Decay set so I don’t find that they gather as much as some creamy make up does but I have super dry skin so I couldn’t guarantee it won’t gather on you. Hope that helps!
Um, this is awesome. I just walked into Ulta and got my supplies.
Do another! Do another!
Where does one buy these products?!?!?!!?
Annie do you have an Ulta or Sephora near you. I found these at Ulta.
