Last night I got back from yet another conference and so I spent the day unpacking and running errands and I am just now sitting down to my computer.  I do however have some great news for you. Peruby: My husband served a mission in Peru and for some reason the colors and prints in this applique remind me of some of the artifacts and souvenirs he brought home and has kept all these years. I thought it would be fun to pay tribute to a place he cares so much about by infusing “Peru” into the name of this applique.  It’s probably a stretch but in my strange mind it works. Greengo: Greengo reminds me of all the spectacular green efforts going on in the world today. I love hearing about and see all the energy efficient inventions being made and the massive efforts and awareness campaigns out there to help clean up the planet. I’m for sure a GO for GREEN so I named this applique Greengo as a reminder to be more aware of things I can do to improve the environment. PS. MuuMuu: IDK if I could adequately express just how much I love the colors in this applique. Rennai can attest to my odd attraction to chartreuse and my need to have it everywhere in my house as well as incorporated in my clothes and jewelry. I probably love these colors together as much as I love wearing muumuus which Rennai can also verify I’m adamant about wearing despite the Boss’s strong aversion to them.
